Good Apartment

My experience has overall been good. The builing is old so the trash compacter doesn't work well, the shower is never able to achieve the right temperature of water which a huge problem in the winter and it often needs repair. But I wanted to live alone near the university and so this works. It's not the most secure either. They also aren't taking new tenants from June 30 next year - seems like it's going under renovation.

It is okay

I like my renovated unit, but I know that some other students who live here do not have the same type of apartment. The kitchen is REALLY TINY. Like the micro kitchen.
It is very close to the Ritchie Center

Pretty good; a little old

The apartment is pretty decent and has a mix of people and not just students - something I really like. There’s also a small courtyard at the front which is a nice break from being stuck inside a building all the time. Initially I was having trouble with maintenance brushing away some issues I had but there’s a new person now and they’ve been very helpful. However the apartment is a little old so you do only get what you pay for. On the other hand, because it’s older, it’s a lot bigger than other ones you would find at the price. The company gives discounts to DU students who have scholarships from DU - which has been great for me. It is also only a short walk away from the train station and the 24 bus stop.

Wouldn't recommend

Cheap/budget place with drafty windows, lack of security, can hear neighbors when loud but generally it's quiet. Packages are stolen a lot.
