BLVD West
It's a great apartment, and I'm really happy with it. In my floor plan, there's a main bedroom with 2 closets and a bathroom inside, and then 2 smaller bedrooms with an additional bathroom in the hall. I'm glad I have an upstairs unit, even if it means its carpeted instead of laminate flooring. The kitchen has limited cooking space because of the "bar" design, but there's a gas stove. The apartment uses Google Nest, so you can set the thermostat when you're away. There is not recycling on-site, which is annoying, and there's one large dumpster for the property. There's also a dog park, pool, gym room, and "business center." The property also has an Amazon locker system. A number of tenants have installed Ring doorbells.
I think this is a great place to live for a professional student. You are fairly isolated from your neighbors and everything is quiet. Most residents seem to be in their late-20s to mid-30s. The apartment is also right next to McLaren hospital.

Great Space and Complex Overall
Love my space here-- it feels like I'm living in a small house or townhome. It's modern/contemporary, clean and very well laid out. A big selling point for me was the in-unit washer and dryer. I also really appreciate having a Nest and the gas stove. I really like that I'm close enough to campus (8-10 minute drive to Radiology) but I'm on the side of campus that isn't near the undergrad students. The complex itself is quiet-- there are a lot of students, families and people with pets here. The area is also quiet as it's in a residential area and its walking distance from the new McLaren hospital.

Great Apartment Complex Overall
Living at BLVD West has been a great experience so far-- it's quiet and my unit is spacious for a 1 bed/1 bath. The units are modern and updated. I also love having an in-unit washer and dryer. Management is amazing and maintenance responds to requests promptly and does a good job. My only real complaints are the noise that naturally comes from having an upstairs neighbor and not having covered parking.

BLVD West
Overall very good, it just switched to new management so I don't how things will go. But the 1800 is what I pay now after they raised the cost of sewer, garbage, and water. It seems like they are neglecting the grounds now, before with old management grounds were kept very clean now not so much. The walls are little thin where I can hear neighbor if it is dead quiet or they're being exceptionally loud.

Expensive but close to campus
BLVD West is close to MSU campus - a 7 minute drive to the Radiology building. The management are nice and host resident events regularly. Maintenance is always quick to respond to requests. The pool is beautiful and the outdoor grilling areas are great. There is a dog park which is cool and they allow up to 2 pets. My biggest complaint is price especially in the smaller apartments, I would not be able to afford it without my roommates. The walls are relatively thin and I can often hear my neighbors but for the most part they are quiet and respectful. The rooms are small, I can barely fit my queen sized bedroom set in my bedroom. The kitchens are also tiny and have little storage space, in general there is not much storage space in the apartment and no other options for local storage. There is no covered parking which would be a nice option to add on. There is no recycling which is also a negative. The road the complex is located on is nice and quiet but you are right near the highway which is pretty noisy.

BLVD West is a great place to live!
I don't think I could have chosen a better place to live than BLVD West. The apartments have been recently renovated with all of the appliances you need (dish washer, garbage disposal, washer/dryer), the location is a very convenient drive to campus, and they have additional amenities such as a pool (open during the summer), small gym with exercise equipment, business center for printing, and a "bark park" for your dog. The current management is EXCELLENT and maintenance is always efficient. I am very happy to live here and plan to stay here during my time at MSU.
