Dream Place

While Bayonne is not affordable for everyone, if you can live there, DO IT! I have lived at Bayonne for two years and its nothing short of a dream. My neighbors are amazing, the management is so kind, the working crew always have a joke to share, and everyone just genuinely cares about you. It is the safest I have ever felt in an area and I feel comfortable to walk around with the dog in the back area, no matter the time at night. It is the perfect place to live.

Very close to campus and safe

I have had no issues with this apartment and I have been here for 5 months now. I feel as though this complex is the safest, closest to campus, and nicest you can get!

Amazing for law students!!

Bayonne is perfect for law students. It may be on the pricier side (my share of rent for a 2 bedroom is $900 before utilities and about $1000 after utilities). However, the convenience cannot be beat. With those short lunch breaks it is very easy to just drive home and eat a quick lunch and be back at school with little to no traffic issues. It is quiet and very clean, and the management is very helpful. It has a trail to walk in the back, a gym, a pool, and great access to the LSU Lakes! It is also super easy to walk to and from on gamedays. It is close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores and the interstate is easily accessible.

Great place to live, but pricey/expensive

Bayonne is a great option for anyone looking for a luxury spot that's safe, clean, and secure. One of the best places to live as a student in BR.

Great management, prompt maintenance, and constant events going on.

Bayonne at Southshore Review

I highly recommend living at Bayonne. There is a mix of students and older people, and it is generally a quiet complex. It is conveniently close to campus and is very safe. Maintenance is amazing, and people are constantly working to upkeep the grounds. There are lots of places you can study including beautiful views outside. You definitely get what you pay for. I moved here in the middle of the semester due to horrible experiences at The Venue at Northgate. I strongly advise no first year student live there. The location is great, but I lost a lot of study time and money because of the inadequate maintenance and managing staff. It is basically ran by college students.

Bayonne

Bayonne is probably the nicest apartment complex in Baton Rouge. However, it is expensive. If I wasn't with someone who made decent money, and if I didn't also work a part time job outside of LSU, there's no way I could afford it.

One of the best near campus

If you’re willing to pay a bit more for comfort and convenience, this is a great place to live near LSU. It’s relatively near everything, good neighborhood, has a parking garage, and the property is well maintained (which can be rare around here). Taking off two stars for paper-thin walls and being on a section of Stanford Ave that floods (but also drains) fairly quickly .
