Fantastic!

Have been renting with Group Fox at their Scott location and have had a great experience! The Property Manager is amazing! She is very helpful and is so wonderful to work with. The building staff is fantastic! Maintenance requests can be completed the same day sometimes within an hour. There is always exciting treats in the lobby all year long, including breakfast specials, free pizzas, holiday theme accessories, etc. The location is wonderful! The building is well-maintained. I would highly recommend this property management company and particularly this location for anyone interested in renting in the Gold Coast neighborhood.

Great building

Great building, management, maintenance staff and door men! Lived here for 3 years and couldn’t be happier. The building is older but the staff keeps it clean and as updated as possible. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Place to Live!!!

I move into 65 E Scott during the middle of the pandemic and it was the best choice. The management and door staff are so welcoming and all around great people. They made my move in process so easy and took away a ton of stress. The building has awesome amenities! My favorite is the pool. They have a huge sun deck with lots of great seating and grills. This is the perfect spot to be on a nice day with friends. The location of the building alone really sells the property. Its located in the heart of Gold Coast and is steps from the beach, the mag mile, tons of restaurants, and much more. All around great place to live !

Love it!

I love living at 65 e scott. The unit is spacious and very sunny. Floor to ceiling windows throughout! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms so we have privacy. The pool is great, and the grills are brand new. Our unit is carpeted which makes it nice and cozy.

Great for someone on a budget who wants amenities

This building is great if you want an amenity building in a great location without breaking the bank. While the building is old, they are starting to redo it and the doormen/maintenance staff are amazing. There is no central heat/ac, but window units.

Decent Value

Apartment was great for years, then started going downhill. Old management company was letting the place fall apart - it recently got purchased by Group Fox and they sent in folks to revamp the place. It used to be the best value in the Gold Coast but prices rose. I started at a 1 bedroom for $1220 3 years ago, and that same floorplan was in the $1600s in 2017.

Quiet building with good space

Love the building and the space I get for the price. I believe this was a good deal for the area though the unit is small it stills feels spacious enough to have friends over. The location is great, being so close to the lake, mag mile, and near cta (red line and many bus routes.) The building itself is clean, and well-kept. the doormen have always been friendly and there's an outdoor pool and deck. The fitness center is small but it works for a quick workout in the mornings.

Gold Coast Reviews

The Gold Coast experience is a bit like two sides of a coin depending on your exact location. There's the supposedly infamous Viagra Triangle, but really, it's just all a bunch of ostentatiously wealthy people who literally mill around and block the entirety of the sidewalks all evening long. If you're more of an extrovert who has a lot of superfluous cash, that would probably be a fun place to be? I'm more of an introvert, so I'm happy once I pass Division (with its own subset of bars--again, there's a lot going on), and it's all architecturally stunning mansions and much quieter. In general, the most important thing that I can say about this neighborhood is that I have seen more dogs in this area at all hours than in any other city, period, and that's EASILY the best incentive to live in the Gold Coast.
I've lived in the Gold Coast for 12 years. I love the neighborhood, but it lacks new developments (that are under a million dollars per unit). The Gold Coast is as safe as you're going to get in Chicago. There are so many places and other neighborhoods that are in walking distance. Being on the lakefront, I believe the Gold Coast is the best neighborhood in the city.
It's right in the heart of it all. You're also really close to Navy Pier here, and it's a wonderful spot. Millenium park is a nice short walk away, and there's ALWAYS something going on.
Great neighborhood to live in. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. It's also close to everything, so it's easy to walk or take public transit.
My experience has been wonderful. I feel safe and there is always something to do, whether I want to go to a nearby festival or try out a trending restaurant or bar.
Gold coast is close to Division street and cool Gold Coast restaurants. We're a quick walk to the lake, shopping, and great places to eat.
Very quaint. Amazing homes and really close to RH Three Arts Café. Also a convenient walk to Old Town and Division St. Bars.
The Gold Coast is a great neighborhood and very safe. It's full of old people, but this building is very young.
