Cheap and fine
Its just fine. It's cheap, the neighbors aren't too loud, they include a lot of the utilities, and maintenance is pretty quick. Cons: the buildings are old, there's no washing machines in unit (there's community washing machines) there are no elevators and the apartments are interestingly built (they feel functionally obsolete at some points). Pros: cheap, generally quiet, depending on which apartment you get it has lots of sunlight, and safe. It's not great, it's just fine.

It's Fine for a First Apartment
I feel that the space I get is good for the price. Management is pretty responsive to issues as I report them. Some things to keep in mind is that the building units do not have elevators so if you have issues with stairs aim for the first floor. The other issue is that I have found bugs occasionally. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the place and find it's convenient for me as far as school commute.

Fine for price
Because I wanted to live alone pricing was difficult. Autumn Ridge seemed like the best place to be to live alone on a budget! It has it quirks, but it definitely gets the job done, is fairly clean, and management is responsive.

Not what expected
The only thing that's good about this complex is the distance from the school. I do not consider this area particularly safe, especially as someone who has lived in North Jersey my entire life. I would compare it to a Prospect Park/Paterson type vibe. They have a bug problem, there's a stink that permeates throughout the apartment, especially the first few months of living here. It's also not a quiet area with a lot of kids scream at 11pm. You're easily able to hear your neighbors and though smoking isn't allowed inside the buildings you can still smell it around the apartments. They also only have 2 dumpsters and for the size of the community, that's not enough. Also, when they claim they're "gated", it's only by car. Someone can easily just walk onto the complex with no issue, and there's even a parking lot without need to swipe in. Then there's also the fact that people drive through the bar so there isn't a need for a gate on the first place if it doesn't stay.

Good proximity to schools and stores.
Autumn Ridge is about 3 minutes from the Gloucester Outlets and 8 minutes from the Deptford mall. A lot of grocery stores and and restaurants are also a few minutes away. Make sure to reach out to management if you think you need something because they may have missed something when you moved in like the gate card foe my cosigner and the clothing rod for my bedroom closet. There's also no stairs so be aware of that.

It's nice
Autumn Ridge is a safe, gated community that has pockets of activity and areas that are very quiet. THe management is pretty helpful too. No laundry in unit, you have to go to the management office for it. Residents are allowed to smoke in their units so you will likely, like I did, have to scrub your walls and ceilings with vinegar and fight your clothes and furniture from smelling like cigarettes. I've lived here now a few months and my friends and family tell that after they leave my apartment, their clothes smell like cigarettes. But you could get a unit that never had a smoker. No pest issues tho, nor loud neighbors.

not bad, but wish was closer to school. Traffic can extend the commute to 20-30 min
