SoCo Urban Lofts

I love living downtown and being able to walk places, restaurants, bars, museums (including the new ATT discovery plaza). It's also only 3 minutes from every major highway. The building is well managed and safe with a security guard staffing the desk 21 hrs a day and very responsive management. There is also covered and assigned parking for residents. Each unit is quite different and most of the building is owner occupied (although there are many units for rental by owner). The roof-top pool is also fantastic! Other amenities include a media room and a gym.

I own my condo, but many of the other units are leased out by the owners. I love living downtown. It's a great location--2 minutes from all of the major highways. Only 10 minutes to SMU (up to 15-20 with traffic) by car. It's also a 5 minute walk to the near DART stations. Downtown is very walkable, and there are many restaurants and coffeeshops close by. The property is very safe, with curtesy guards on duty 20 hours a day. There are also two handymen on duty M-Fri. It also has a rooftop pool, gym, media room, storage room, and covered parking. Up to two dogs or cats are allowed per unit for a small fee, and many other downtown properties do limit pets to one per unit.

I really like my industrial loft and I love living downtown. Most of the units are owner occupied though, so renters are not as common. Lots of dogs. Great location if you want to have a life outside of the bubble of SMU and the Park Cities.
