Decent place to live
Management is subpar but location is great and close to campus. Lived here all 4 years of medical school. Relatively quiet but does depend on neighbors. Would recommend living on the 4th (top) floor if available because you can hear all footsteps on lower levels.

Great
Always helpful when resolving problems, great and friendly staff, friendly community. Have had a great experience here.

Cheap rent, good apartment, close to campus and safe
The bristol has gotten a lot better over the last year. Downside is maintenance can take some time if it isn’t urgent, but otherwise it’s a p up to date apartment. Probably staying here until graduation.

A word of advice about managment
The managment is not the best but not the worst. Depends on who you interact with and what your situation is. Keyshawn at the front desk is the person to talk to.

the location is near UTHSC, and the garage is gated so it’s nice. it has a pool and a small gym.

Close to Campus
I love the old and new management (might love new even more). They have really updated the whole facility. Price is higher than some locations but VERY close to campus. There is a pool, gym, and lots of areas for pets. There is also an area with computers and printers. They also have a great package room that they have been working out some issues with. The communication is great and they come fix things so quickly. The location isn’t the safest, but it is fully gated and monitored (security guard sometimes). The location can be a bit loud because it is by the interstate and a lot of hospitals. A lot of families live here and other students/residents. I would recommend living here.

DO NOT LIVE HERE (violation of renters rights)
I've lived here for a little over a year now and have had very little issues, I even signed a new lease for another year in July. This was up until the previous management sold to an out of state management company in August. Since management has changed, they have attempted to charge me late rent due to "online errors," the gate was broken for a month, the package room was broken for 6 weeks. To top it all off, during the management change my new lease was never executed, and the new company refused to offer my lease, trying to increase my rent $200 from last year to this year. They gave me one weeks notice of this change in an attempt to get me to sign this ridiculously high lease, and when I got a lawyer involved they stopped answering all of my correspondence, even going so far as to not acknowledge my move out notice (though I've reached out 3 times now about it). I'm moving now to another apartment complex in the Medical District, but after talking to my class about this experience I know I'm not the first person they've done this to in the 2 months they've been here, and I don't think I'll be the last.
To rub salt in the wound, they're still charging new residents $1500 a month this year for the same floor plan I currently live in, they just refused to honor my $1600 resigned lease because they thought they could get more out of a busy medical student.

Great Location, New management is not great
I lived at the Bristol my M1 year and really enjoyed living there. The location is very close to campus, the parking garage is very convenient and safe, and I never had any issues with noise or management. However, new management recently took over a couple months ago and there have been several issues that have arisen for me and other residents that I know. The gate to the garage was broken for awhile and access to package room somehow started to malfunction, etc. Also, one of my friends got into a dispute with the new management about the lease she signed before they took over and this has caused her a lot of stress.

Safe and Quality for the money
Moving to Memphis was a huge jump for my wife and me. Our time at Bristol On Union made the transition easier, and although we did not stay in Memphis for longer than a year, we would move back to Bristol if we ever had to return. The amenities are great, the building is secure, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The only downfall we experienced was the road noise due to our unit facing Union Avenue.
