City View
I just moved to City View apartments off Oltorf from living on West Campus. My West Campus apartment was the worst place I ever lived--things falling apart, bugs, bad maintenance, my ceiling was even caving in. Now, I pay $100 more than I would have in West Campus, but the difference is unbelievable. This is a huge, clean, beautiful apartment where everything works, there are no bugs, and there multiple useful amenities. much better value/lifestyle then living in west campus!

City View on Oltorf
The location is pretty convenient. The rent is reasonable since you are still in a semi-bad area. It takes about four minutes to get to downtown, and 71 is close, so you can get around pretty easily. There is a crime problem. Both my car and my roommate’s were broken into and our neighbor was killed during a bad drug deal about two weeks after we moved in, but that was the only murder in the year that I’ve been here. The apartments are fairly new, so they have a modern design and floor plan.
