The apartment's strongest advantage is its location and relatively low price. It's away from campus, so it's not quite so loud or hectic as complexes closer in, and attracts more residents than just students. It's located on the busline into campus and it's close to grocery stores and other shops. The price is also quite reasonable for a two bedroom, 1.5 bath.
The property does have coin-operated laundry facilities in the basement.
The disadvantages are: the complex itself isn't super well-maintained. The carpets and appliances are old, and only get replaced when they break down. Some of the neighbors are loud and not always conscientious neighbors. It's supposed to be non-smoking; some people still smoke on their balconies. The low price attracts a certain type of clientele. In the past, the complex also had some petty vandalism (graffiti, homeless vagrants). These things increased during the pandemic. Things might be better now.
The basement does tend to flood; the roof is leaky in some of the areas of the complex, although the manager was trying to get them fixed.

The complex is next to a large grocery store and parking lot. The parking lot can attract lots of traffic and random people-- sometimes noisy at night.

The apartments are unfurnished, but include kitchen appliances (except for microwaves). Each apartment is allocated one, outdoor/uncovered parking spot. Utilities are in addition to the rent.

Overall, a decent value and the apartments are not fancy, but they are decent. It was a serviceable place.
