Cheap and quiet studios
The overhead management company can be difficult to deal with, by the on-site stuff at every nice. Maintenance responds quickly. The unit is nothing special, but it’s good for the price. Utilities average about $150 per month

Older but comfortable studios
The apartment is a little older on the outside, but the kitchen was recently remodeled, and the apartment has enough space for one person. Great property manager and staff, but the overall management company can be difficult to get ahold of.

Worth the Cost
While a little bit pricey, I think that a studio this nice is worth the cost. I enjoy living alone in a safe neighborhood. Because the apartment is relatively small the windows fill it with sunlight, and it is inexpensive to heat/cool. The complex is very pet friendly, and maintenance happens quickly. The kitchen and flooring are nicely updated. The complex is also right next to a bus stop which makes transit to campus and around Lawrence easy. The biggest downside is that there is a lack of closet/storage space, especially in the bathroom, but I found it easy to fix with a couple of extra shelves. There are also not a lot of units within the complex and there is not high turnover, so it can be difficult to get into an apartment.

Falling apart but cheap and convenient
The apartment is pretty low quality and falling apart. But the rent is cheaper than anything else I can find and even more expensive apartments are of comparable quality. Best parts are that it is super close to a KU bus stop, within walking distance of a small strip mall, allows pets, and is generally pretty quite.
