Clearbrook Review
Clearbrook is the most affordable 1 bedroom I could find...

Great one bedroom
I really have no complaints living at Clearbrook! Rent for a one bedroom is 650 but I believe it will be increasing to 700$ starting August 2022. However, rent does include all utilities except electricity and it even has a security system included. It was one of the cheaper one bedroom places in Oxford that I could find.
The fixtures such as the kitchen cabinets and counter tops are a little dated, but I have found everything in my apartment is still in great working condition (nothing feels like it is falling apart). I have additionally had roaches and other bugs at other apartments in town, but have had 0 problems with that at Clearbrook! I have had a couple of minor things that needed fixing. It did take OM rentals a little while to get those things fixed, but they were definitely far from emergency things so it wasn't too much of a big deal. I did learn that I had to stay on top of my requests by calling to remind them of things.
Compared to a lot of apartments, the bedroom is pretty large and the high ceilings make everything feel more spacious. The kitchen has a ton of storage. The bathroom is probably the biggest drawback to the floor plan as it is pretty tiny, but I installed a shelving system over my toilet and by my sink for towels and toiletries, and that seemed to do the trick. There aren't a lot of trees and things around and I find that my apartment is often in direct sunlight, which does mean my electricity bill can get pretty pricey in the summer.
I love having a small outdoor area where my dog and I can sit and I also enjoy having more of a neighborhood feel for my dog and I to walk around. There is a dollar general literally right next door which is great for when I need to pick up a few things, and there is a newer bus route that comes past the complex which has really saved me when my car has broken down. There are a mix of undergraduate and graduate students living here, as well as families, and I have found that everyone is friendly.
Finally, the one bedrooms are situated in duplexes, which means you do share a wall with one other person. It is important to know that this wall is pretty thin - I have overheard verbatim conversations that my neighbor was having and I am sure they have overheard mine. For the most part my neighbors have been really respectful of making too much noise (and I hope I have as well), so this hasn't been much of a concern for me.
