Expensive, Overcrowded, with cheap product
We moved here as it was close to work. The parking garage is >$250 for a spot that has a dangerous right corners with blind spots to get through. The gym is always crowded and too small for the number of people. The paint in the apartment is so bad is stains with breathing on it. The appliances, especially the washer and dryer are the cheapest model possible. There is always too much lint that collects everywhere on the door and the washer manages to snag/twist/damage clothes. The floor tiles are snap installed and sometimes "unsnap". For the price and the amount of space, it is not worth it. For the crappy parking, dirty crowed gym, not worth it. Will be moving out shortly. The pet smells in the elevator is nauseating. The pet smells in the hallways also horrible. The maintenance and front desk are the only decent part of the building. The guy manager is dismissive of problems and a bit condescending.

Love the Lydian
Although they are pretty pricey- I love the location to be able to get on the blue line to get to work. I like the safety of having concierge and living next to the medical center. If I’m hungry- I’m able to walk close by to grab food as well

Amazing Building!
I love this apartment and building. It is brand new, and the amenities like the pool, lounge, and gym are excellent. The appliances in the unit are great and I am so thrilled to have laundry in-unit and a dishwasher. The windows let in so much natural light, and the studio is spacious with lots of closet space. The only thing I don't love is the price. My rent for a studio is about $1,900, parking in the garage is $300 per month, and including the utilities bundle, I'm paying about $2,400 a month. Again, it's a fantastic building located near public transit and is very safe and secure, so if it's in your budget it's worth the price.

Jake and Alex are nice
- Blunts thrown from amenity floor onto resident patios multiple times (our puppy required the emergency vet for $$$$; blunt was laced); still no idea who did it or whether anyone was held accountable
- Assigned parking finally being enforced with towing of unauthorized vehicles (it was a battle for awhile)
- Some residents are rude but most are nice
- Concierges downstairs are hit or miss (some are great but some are beyond useless)
- events hosted are hit or miss (bingo was fun, but candle making hosts were in sweats/pj pants and crocs)
- Latch for elevator to enforce restricted access finally fixed
- still have residents sharing codes to amenities with unauthorized and unaccompanied guests who don’t respect the space (but front office is usually responsive to address and fine residents)

Beautiful building in a very loud and depressing location
It's been harder than I expected to live on basically a small island among busy streets and the expressway.

Great place in IMD
I have enjoyed living at The Lydian. It is a gorgeous building, with great amenities, nice staff and fun events for residents.

Great Place Outside Downtown
Super amazing property! There is security 24/7 and it’s very clean and updated. It’s right by the highway so it’s only a 5 minute drive to west loop. There are also 2 bus route and the blue line nearby for easy access to campus. Would recommend if you want to live near the city but not directly in it
