Good overall, just expensive
Nice, spacious, updated appliances, but expensive for what you get. Little things going wrong or not done in a high quality way (paint peeling, bathtub lining peeling). Management is (now, post-change) quick to respond, but I've had a bug problem they haven't fixed.

It is what you make it
I love my apartment here. But I have furniture to fill it with and I've spent some considerable time and money decorating and making it homey.
This is an older property and the apartments will vary in how updated they are. Management seems to do the absolute bare minimum in terms of cleaning and making repairs before you move in. There are plenty of little issues here and there related to the age and upkeep.
I'll also say that there are no amenities here and when I moved in management gave little to no guidance about a number of important things (internet, garbage collection, etc.)
BUT
Like I said, I love my apartment. I'm fortunate that I live in an end unit with a quiet neighbor. I feel safe and it is very spacious. It's a place where I can get away from the law school completely and be on my own. That degree of separation has been great for my mental health.
I have a 6-8 minute walk to the law school. The grocery store and all of the many different shops in Barracks are a few minutes' walk away.
I have 2 free parking spots in front of the apartment.
I'm also pretty happy with the cost. With utilities it's probably about $1950 a month for a spacious two-bedroom (which includes a washer and dryer).
If you're willing to forgo some of the flashier amenities of some nearby complexes, this is a good spot.

Arlington Park Townhomes
This is a great alternative to living at the Pavillion. It's right across the street from Pav, so it's about a 5 minute walk to the law school. The rent is cheaper than at Pav, and while the apartments are also older it's still a good deal. Living in a townhome rather than a large apartment complex is definitely a plus! It feels more homey and you get a little backyard space. Free parking is also great - although the proximity to the law school and the grocery stores in Barracks shopping center makes it a great option for students without cars, too. Management is pretty good about upkeep, maintenance, and communication. One downside is that in the unrennovated apartments, you won't have things like new appliances or a dishwasher, and the ventilation for the dryer and stovetop are pretty much non-existent. Management hasn't seemed willing to work with us on those changes.

Thumbs Up for Arlington Townhomes
Arlington Townhomes has the convenience of Pavilion without feeling like your living in either a dorm room or a hotel, plus it saved me actually thousands of dollars. I park immediately outside my front door and have a convenient little fenced in yard for my dog. I spent all 3 years here and was really satisfied. It's not luxury but it's nice for the price.

Good place to live
They do a good job at maintaining the facilities. Rent doesn't go up a ton. Lots of space.

Meh
Pretty outdated, no dishwasher, tub/shower is really weird. Internet is fast. Management company kinda suck and it wasn’t cleaned when I moved in. I’ll be moving.
