NA
Very close to campus- just annoying with traffic over Henley bridge. Ubers to downtown are relatively cheap.

Good place
A lot of grad students live here so it is a quieter place! It's not as big as some of the apartments but it has enough space. It's also close to everything, and a walkable distance from school.

Nice, new apartments but room for improvements
I've enjoyed my time living at Flagship Kerns so far. I love that the largest units are only two bedrooms. The units are furnished, and everything is very updated. The amenities are nice (gym, pool, clubhouse, etc.). Great location for UT students. Maintenance and office staff have always been kind and friendly. The biggest issue is parking. There are never enough spots, so people are always parking along the curbs. Someone even parks on the sidewalk. They've tried to solve this by issuing parking passes, but they never check for the passes so no one ever gets towed away. Also, I generally feel safe, but there aren't any security measures in place that I know of. There have been several times where I've come across homeless people smoking in the parking lot or walking through the parking lot to access the road behind our buildings. The complex is basically brand new, so I'm not sure managament has been fully prepared to handle having a full complex of (mostly) college students.
