The Abbey at Regents Walk

Not super new and therefore not the cleanest.

The complex is wonderful. It’s very close to Samford which is great. They respond super fast to work orders if something breaks. I haven’t waited more than a day or two. It’s a very safe area and super close to lakeshore Walmart, and green springs Publix and Aldi. It feels very central to a lot of restaurants and I can be downtown in 15 minutes or so. Occasionally we have had issues with the ac but it’s always been fixed in 24 hours or less.

Great apartment located 10-15 minutes from campus (less than that if you leave early enough to beat the lakeshore traffic) just a few minutes from Publix, Aldi, or Walmart. Very safe neighborhood and friendly neighbors! There is a community pool and a small fitness center. Overall, this is a great apartment complex and since I have 2 roommates rent is about $633 a month not including water and electric.

So good and safe just a little old

The building is older, but it is still a nice place to live. I have lived there for over a year and have had a positive experience. The management and maintenance team are great when it comes to communication and resolving any issues. Wi-Fi and cable are included in the rent and there is a gym, laundry facility, pool, and free printing on site. I enjoyed living at the Abbey, it isn't the fanciest place, but it has everything you need in a nice neighborhood.

Our 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and well cared for. Hardwood flooring, carpet bedrooms, a walk in closet with bathroom in master bedroom and hall bathroom. Kitchen lacks a bit of counter space, but overall fair size with washer/dryer unit (not in all apartments). We use one bedroom as a study for now. Parking is a bit inconvenient on the hill and space is tight. Management is good about resolving issues but sometimes there's a delay in reaching them. Overall good area and good apartment for if you are independent or have family. Does require commute ~15 minutes to campus.
