The Oaks at Lakeshore

What i like the most about my apartment complex is that is really quiet at night and the office staff are really nice and you can get a maintenance person to help you with any problem the same day of your claim, the least that i like from this complex is that depending on the time you arrive home you may find a parking close to your apartment or maybe not that close.

They are pretty. Parking can get packed sometimes. They don't have valet trash.

Overall, it is a good complex in a good location. The pool is nice and it has a small gym attached to the lobby. There is definitely a parking shortage here though. As with most apartments walls were thin, so I was often woken up by people outside. You also have to provide your own washer and dryer.

Great and close to campus

I just resigned for my second year at The Oaks because I love living there so much! My building is super quiet which makes for good study days. It is super close to grocery shops, food, outdoor spaces, and school. I feel SO safe here as a woman living alone — the gate is always working. Maintenance is amazing and always responds super promptly. My only complaint is sometimes parking in front of your building is impossible if people have guests over.

Overall, a good apartment complex. I liked the open floor plan of my unit as well as the pool and small gym. There is definitely a parking shortage, so you may have to illegally park if you arrive home too late in the evening. I also appreciated that I could walk around the complex safely to get my steps in.

I have never had any issues! It’s been very quiet and maintenance has had always responded quickly. I never had to ask more than once for anything to be fixed and never had an issue with items breaking/poor quality. The office team is also very kind, responsive, and welcoming with any questions.

The apartment has the essential for a student can survive but lack of couple of amenities like bed, sofa, chair, washer, dryer etc. That’s the only thing that I consider that a student be prepared to find it on their own before or while in the apartment. Other than that, it’s really a nice place.

I have enjoyed my time here. All of the staff have been very nice and helpful. They respond to maintenance requests very quickly. My only issue is that they didn’t do a great job warning us ahead of time of all the outside renovations going on and what all that would entail, but all of that is done now. Overall I am very happy with The Oaks.
