overall a great apartment with historical features. being a few blocks from downtown Roanoke is an amazing experience and allows for easy walking. It is considered a one bedroom but there's no door to the bedroom space which is sectioned off with half walls. the tall window lets in tons of light in the afternoon but the rest of the day it's pretty dark.
only complaint is the "hidden" costs of living here: the amenities fee isn't included in the rent price but is $105 to cover most of your utilities; electric can get expensive with the (beautiful) lofted ceilings, and paying for parking is a necessity (though the garage isn't too far away). I call these costs "hidden" with heavy air quotes because they are upfront costs but it does make a more affordable downtown apartment more out of budget.

Beautiful, new, loft style units with updated amenities and finishes. Located in the heart of downtown, making it easily accessible to coffee shops, restaurants, farmers market, etc. Management is okay - they are slow to respond and not the most pleasant, but do the job. There is a bit of street noise that you hear from the building including cars and bells from a church across that play multiple times an hour.

Overall has been great, some issues with appliances but maintenance has always responded quickly. Also construction downstairs.

Beautiful, brand new apartment building with a modern feel and updated appliances. It is in a great downtown location walking distance to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and the weekend farmers market. It is spacious for a 1 bed/1 bath (approx. 700 square ft) and would provide enough space for even a couple living together. Some of the nice features include hardwood floors, exposed brick, and big windows that let in lots of natural light. There is not much storage in the kitchen and no hallway closet. In addition, the management is slow to respond if you have any issues.
