Spacious
The neighborhood is great, but the building contains very noisy neighbors. Heavy walking, loud music, door slamming. It's like a dorm or living with an invisible flat mate.

Affordable but not clean
Compared to two previous rental apartments that were over $2000 this apartment has been nicer and great at following up with problems when the heating goes out. The only negative thing is that the outside maintenance is not well regulated including residents allowing their pets to poop on the concrete instead of the designated backyard and trash cans all have holes with constant rats. The neighborhood is quiet because it is a one way which is very nice. There is parking on the street and you just have to get the city permit for that location.

Good management, close to rush
The title says it all, I have had bad experiences renting in Chicago but this management company is good. Only issue is pretty frequent/late parties d/t college students in the building. Hard to beat for the price though.
