Great for those who want to live in the city
I love my apartment, it's very quiet, full of light, centrally located (on 10th and Market) and has some really nice amenities. It is expensive, and my windows do not open since it's considered a historic building, but I find it to be worth it.

101 Dupont Place Review
Good apartment for the price

Great facilities/location
The apartments are in the same building as the DuPont Hotel. Essentially half of the building was sectioned off and converted to brand new apartments while the other half remains the hotel. There is a full spa and “elevated” food court downstairs in the building. Walking distance to all of the restaurants Wilmington is getting such notice for ((ie: Bardea, The Quoin, Wilma’s, Le Cavalier (downstairs in the building)) Also, the Playhouse at Rodney Square opened back up and does off broadway shows - it is also located on the main floor of the building. There is 24/7 concierge service at the front doors and they’ll receive and store all your packages and mail which is great. There is a brand new insanely nice gym, gorgeous billiards/game room, movie theater, rooftop deck with gas grill, business center, and zoom rooms that are available for residents as well. I have two cats (pet rent is illegal in DE - they can only charge you a pet deposit) and a ton of other people have pets here. Unfortunately there is no on site parking, I walk a block and a half to a lot that costs 160/month for a parking pass. Additionally, while the location is awesome for dining out/etc., it is definitely not the safest at night. You will have people come up to you asking for money who will not accept no for an answer and try to follow you inside. However, living in any city requires some street sense/common sense, so it’s safe enough if you’re vigilant.
