Overpriced room in a fine but well located house

You have a fairly large private room/bathroom in a well located house utilities are included. The landlord definitely overcharges students for rent considering your paying enough to have your own 1 bedroom apartment elsewhere but having to share common spaces. A cleaning service comes once a week to clean common spaces, included but they just quickly surface clean. The landlord is cheap and not very responsive, I am currently in dispute with him for wrongfully withholding my security deposit without a valid reason. He also tried to overcharge another housemate during my time there. You don’t have control over your roommates and he does not do any vetting, so who knows who else will be in the house.

Great landlord!

Our landlord (Michael Bielby) is fabulous. He's an alumn who lives in Ann Arbor and manages all the properties he owns personally. We totally lucked into this one, from what I understand his properties don't turn over very often.

Great! Not available next year.

I love the house I live in. It's newly renovated and almost all the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, which is a huge perk when living in a co-ed house. Our landlord is super responsive and always comes to fix things within 24-48 hours.
