Good for sometimes-commuters

Great location for grocery stores and proximity to the school, in a safe area, in a gated community. In nicer weather, the MARTA/Emory bus stop is a 10-minute walk away. Great for getting outside for a minute without being a difficult walk by any means. Also great if you have a car and want to avoid the rain, since it's only 2 miles from the school. They are slowly gentrifying the area around, but mostly just upgrading old gas stations and building generic apt buildings on otherwise vacant land nearby.

Downtown Decatur is also only a 5-7 minute drive away, so if you're looking for something fun to do, it's pretty close by.
