Review of 3 bd 1 bath house on the hill
We (myself + 1 law student + 1 CU Masters student) rent a 3 bedroom hosue on the Hill from an individual property owner, not a housing company. Our experince has been good. The house is in a good location near Chautaqua and 1 mile from the law school (a 25 minute walk or 10 min bike ride). We are surrounded by undergrads, which is not ideal, but walking distance from Pearl, restaurants on the hill, Fox Theater, and more. The house is not great condition - landlords on the hill have little motivation to update the homes because students are always willing to rent and pay a lot of money. We have an extra room to store gear (like bikes, skiis, climbing gear, etc) which is awesome. The neighborhood feels safe.
