Not the best, not the worst
The worst part about this place is that they used to offer free parking, and then suddenly started charged like $70 PER MONTH for parking. We opted out and park on the street across for free, but sometimes there isn't parking. Also, they charge us $70 for water a month because there are two of us. I have heard that other people do not pay that much for water, so I would try to negotiate the water price down if you can. People used to steal packages as well. It does feel safe and updated, and the apartments are pretty nice, in my opinion. In unit washer/dryer is nice, but our machine has issues. It is VERY CLOSE to the law school (5 min walk) which is a positive.

G3 Apartments
Overall I do like my apartment at G3. No carpet, so easy to take care of, and it's a decent amount of space for a one bed, especially in terms of closet space. It's a brand new complex so everything still works well, including the in-unit laundry. The bedroom is very spacious because of the tall ceilings. Windows provide plenty of sunlight. The location is absolutely perfect for a Maurer student, can't get any better, which is a big deal. Some things to consider are that there are 0 amenities at G3. Not even an elevator. It's very bare bones. Also, the covered parking is not fully covered, so there is a chance you get one of the parking spots that is not fully covered. Lastly, the covered parking is not as secure as a garage, and this is where they drop off packages, so there have been instances of stolen packages.

good basic apartment
Only a 3-minute walk to the law school, these apartments are quite convenient. The 2-bedroom one is spacious enough and quite decent for a student. No amenities, not too secure, and not the best management. But that is not too important for me.

Good house, great fenced in yard
This house is a small 3 bed, 2 bath home that is one block from the Bryan Park tennis courts and about a 15 minute walk to school. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood, has a driveway that allows at least 2 cars to park off the street, and a large, fully-fenced backyard with a covered patio. The landlord is one person, not a company, and he is very responsive and easy to work with. It has no carpeting and is very pet friendly (we have 2 large dogs, paid a deposit but don't have to pay pet rent and there is no weight limit). If you're looking for a nice, quiet house with great outdoor space, this is your spot!
