Rowan Apt Review
I have been living at Rowan Apartments for two years now and have had a great experience. The location is ideal, just a 7-minute drive away, and the atmosphere is vibrant and inspiring, with a strong community of young, successful Black professionals, including medical, dental, and law students, as well as engineers.
What I appreciate most about the building is the abundance of study spaces—there are three dedicated study rooms and numerous desk areas, all accessible 24/7. Management is kind. I plan to continue living here throughout my time at Howard Med.

It’s pretty good
Although it is kind of expensive, they provided my sister and I with a deal of 2 months free as well as a $500 gift card before we moved in. The area is a bit dangerous, but it super close to the metro which is perfect to transport to school. It is a 20 minute train ride, and is a reliable form of transportation. There is also a bus near here that is an option, but that is a little less reliable.

Parking + living
Parking is a nightmare and very expensive but the building has a lot of amenities and near a metro station.

New building with friendly and attentive staff. Building is walkable to CUA, but is not necessarily in the greatest area.

Rowan Apt Review
Great experience. Most of the building is filled with Howard graduate students or undergrad upperclassmen. Very successful and motivating community here. The building management host many free events with food and drinks to help us build a strong community.
