Great Apartment, not Great Management
I love so many things about this apartment. It is spacious, has high ceilings, hard wood floors, french doors and thick walls (great audio privacy). It is also very affordable rent for Chicago, especially with one roommate. It also allows my cat and has a dishwasher and garbage disposal and two great sized bedrooms with nice light. It is also very close to the lake as well as the CTA and Metra Lines. The management company although, has been pretty lackluster. Although they do great with fixing small things, larger problems such water leaks in common areas and pests in the building are allowed to escalate into terrible situations. Overall, I plan to continue to live here, but the management company makes me hesitate to recommend it to others.
