Great place to live as a law student

Pros: Spacious one bedroom apartment. Quiet and close to campus. Parking spot (in private lot) and heat/hot water are included in the rent. Very close to downtown West Hartford. Lots of young people and families live in my building and the adjacent apartment buildings. I don't have in unit laundry, but some units do, so that is an option.

Cons: A bit overpriced. The units are definitely not as nice in person as they are online. There is technically a gym in the building, but it is small/not great. I would recommend visiting first before signing a lease.

Overall it is a great place to live, especially as a law student.

Good Location; Can be Pricey

755 Farmington is located halfway between the law school and downtown West Hartford. It's located right on Farmington Ave, so it is super easy to get to downtown Hartford as well. There's a bus stop just across the street, but each apartment comes with one parking spot.

The building is on the older side, so you get hardwood floors with your creaky walls when the heat kicks on. The apartments are very spacious (perfect for a couple to spread out in). But the 755 property doesn't have an elevator. Some apartments come with a balcony. There's a small gym in the basement.

The apartment management company is pretty hands off, but maintenance usually handles concerns pretty quickly.
