Poor Management and Poor Communication

So, one of the staff that works at Everly Apartments showed me around and everything was going well. Well, because of the company I work for, the staff worker was like, ok you have two things that would help you towards your application and admin fee and the 1st month, you can spend however you want towards your rent since it was going to be free rental for the first month. I was onboard until the staff worker just left, and management took over and then we began to be on two different pages. I am emailing and no response. Then management telling me I have to do this, and I was like, that is not what we discussed. So, for weeks I have been getting the running around, so at the point I was just done and ready to look somewhere else. Well, when I tried emailing them about my application fee and admin fee, its unfortunately we cannot get your money back. So, at that point I am mad because $300 is a lot. So, the assistant manager is telling me I cannot get my money, but you guys are the ones who didn't make me feel comfortable and you didn't make me feel like I should call Everly Apartments home. I been asking to speak to the owner or the manager and she will not give me the info. This is not a fair situation. Management stinks and nobody's on the same page.
