Oasis - Convenient
The one or two bedroom apartments at the Oasis are slightly more expensive than the other Vue Communities, but they are the newest, and the closest to LUCOM. The commute to LUCOM (2 min), and distance to Walmart, Sams, Target, CVS, Chipotle, Sheetz, Starbucks, Chickfila (8 min) are the most amazing benefits to living at the Oasis. The pool and the gym (open 24/7) are the nicest you will be able to find as far as apartment amenities, and most people do not use LaHaye or other gyms. The apartments are almost brand new, absolutely no pest issues, maintenance is quick to respond. The biggest drawback is the building itself is not closed and packages have been stolen from people's doorsteps. Most of the management is very kind but except for one of the mangers can be quite rude. The clubhouse is brand new and so comfortable for studying and hanging out, with free coffee, and paid vending machines available 24/7. The grounds have so much space to eat outside, grill, play corn hole, soccer, whatever. Tons of storage, and furnished apartments help so much especially for students moving from long distances.

The Oasis
The Oasis is a very well run and clean complex. Management is very friendly and responsive to maintenance needs. The rent amount, although slightly expensive on the surface, includes rent, utilities, internet, parking, gym access and FREE UNLIMITED coffee. In addition, it is only a 1-2 minute drive from LUCOM, which is very convenient on days where you need extra sleep, or run late.

The Oasis Review
Pros: Lots of fun activities, trail for exercise, great amenities, really close to campus (3 minute commute)
Cons: Experience depends a lot on the kind of roommates you get (mine were great thankfully), can get noisy at times

Overall good
Oasis is pretty good overall for student housing but the walls are kind of thin so if someone is playing music or talking a little louder you can hear it.

The Oasis: Pros and Cons
The Oasis is less than 5 minutes from LUCOM, and you will likely never run into traffic. The apartments are furnished and have an open living space. There is also a pool and a gym, as well as free coffee. However, it can get noisy at night depending on where your apartment is. The bedrooms are also small. Overall, it is a nice place to live. You sign an individual lease, so your rent does not change if someone leaves.

Reasonable place
I have enjoyed my time at the oasis. The clubhouse is very helpful to have a place to do homework at home without being home.

not bad for the money. Fully furnished.
A place to lay your head. The Oasis is very close to the Liberty School of Law and they offer a shuttle bus twice per hour onto campus. The apartments are newer with very nice amenities such as a salt water pool, gym and a very nice clubhouse. Your room is equipped with electronic locks for privacy and the staff at the apartment community is very professional and quick to respond to concerns. It is inexpensive and fully furnished, so you only need to bring your hygiene and clothing. The only downside is you have no control over roommates who may not be on a law student's tight schedule. More than once I have dealt with noise from the room across from me playing video games all night with guests. Also, I have to repeatedly tell them to clean their dishes. We have a dishwasher, but they will leave dishes in the sinks until the bugs come.

I love living here
I love living here, it’s only five minutes from campus.

Has everything you need, main thing you need is a good roommate.
The oasis is your typical student apartment. However, my experience is particularly good because I have only one roommate who is also a law student. It likely would not be as enjoyable living with undergraduates or other random students.
Only students can live at the Oasis and the vast majority are LU students.

I really enjoy the Oasis. It is close to campus and even has the LU shuttle service.
