Good

The apartment itself is very nice, management is not very good. They are just not organized. They do their job but not any extra. They won't proactively fix problems, if something is broken in the gym, it will stay broken until someone asks multiple times for it to be fixed. They have a coffee shop in lobby that only works 50% of the time that they are aware of and just never fix. Parking is usually a mess, suppose to have assigned spots but no one follows it, but then when you park in someone else's spot you get a giant sticker over your window that you can't drive with and takes them 3 days to get off. They are also very cheap. Will charge you higher than they quote you.

Love the location

I love the property management! The apartment is in a very convenient location for attending the law school, and I felt very safe walking my dog in the area. Being on High Street it is naturally very loud, but the majority of the noise in my unit comes from Bier Stube.

Expensive but feels safe and nice

8th and High is expensive but it is clean, people are friendly, and it feels safe and is a short walk to campus

Will be staying here throughout Law School

Picked my apartment because of natural light, dog friendly, and it had good finishes. I really enjoy my space and I like the property managers. Also helps that a lot of people in the law school live here so I do have some amount of a community

8th & High is mediocre and overpriced

8th & High has five floors of unfurnished apartments, a two-level garage, two patio areas, and a lobby which includes a small gym for residents. There are two benefits to living at 8th and High: there is an underground private garage and the location is less than half a mile from campus. There are a great many detriments:
- No utility or charge is included in the rent. I pay parking, heating, water, electric, and wi-fi on top of my monthly rent.
- There is a single elevator for a building with hundreds of residents.
- The rent is exorbitant, and additional charges are levied because my apartment faces High Street (50$/mo) and I am on the Sixth Floor (75$/mo).
Construction on the building finished earlier this year, in October. I, like many tenants, moved in while construction was ongoing. During the construction period, disruptions in utilities, issues with appliance functionality, and general service delays were frequent. When construction finished, most of these problems were corrected after repeated visits by maintenance. As it is, I (and all other tenants) pay a very high price for a living space which provides very little to justify the vost.
