I like living in this apartment. My neighbors are sweet and there's a lot of cool things to do in downtown Oak Park. I do wish there's more parking and ADA accessible routes for our senior citizens neighbors.

Beautiful apartment, building is 100 years old so lots of charm. Landlord is amazing, very reasonable rent. Overall, great apartment.

My landlords own the condo my roommate and I rent, so we have to manage work with both our landlords and the condo association rules which can be a little annoying. They do offer a good amount f security though, and we are close to a main street for Oak Park including the green line stop and a park with tons of adorable seasonal events. The are is absolutely lovely though off street parking is difficult to come by. I almost never struggle to find street parking, but Oak Park has a lot of rules to be aware of. The apartment itself is decently-sized, and has the charming 20s Chicago architecture of a cute front entry and long areas of greenery between chunks of the building. Laundry can be paid either by phone app or coin which is great during coin shortages or if you are far from your preferred bank and don't feel like going to Western Union all the time. Overall, it's a little quirky but in a gorgeous area of Oak Park and decently affordable with a roommate.
