Alexan Evans Station

The apartment is nice and new. I live on the West side and get a fantastic view of the mountains. It has a pool, hot tub, gym, and work space which are all great. However, the common spaces are not clean. There are a lot of irresponsible pet owners that let their dogs go to the bathroom in the halls, stairwells, and right outside the building meaning whenever you open your windows it stinks. Also, since the building is on the corner or Evans and Broadway it's a major intersection with a bus stop. I wouldn't recommend it for a single woman. Rent is expensive and the additional fees on top of utilities, like the amenities fee, community gas fee, community trash fee, as well as an individual trash fee, really add up. Separately, some people might be deterred/interested to know that the the apartment complex is ultimately owned by Harlan Crow.

Alexan Evans Station is an apartment community geared towards working professionals and is pet friendly. The complex keeps communal areas very clean. The gym is very nice as are other amenities. The package system allows access to mail 24/7. While the community is slightly expensive, the noise control between units is great as is the distance to DU.

Alexan Evans Station is a wonderful place to live. It is nice, clean, and pretty. The apartments are reasonably sized, and once you consider all that comes with them, the rent is also reasonable. There is a pool, hot tub, mini climbing wall, pet wash station, brand new gym, and several areas where you can work from home. In my opinion, the only negative is the distance from school (about a 10-minute drive).

I have lived in a lot of apartments. It is so rare to find leasing agents who are competent and helpful. Every issue I have is promptly addressed without me having to say anything. I really enjoy living here.
