ECGA
ECGA Is very convenient for LBJ students. The LBJ school is about a 10 minute walk from the apartments. Apartments have study rooms, common areas, and a gym.

ECG Apartments
The apartment is located near campus and rent includes all utilities. My only warning is that the walls and roof are pretty thin so we can hear everything that goes on in the apartments near us. Maintenance is quick, but make sure that one of you is there to resolve the issue. I did not have light in my room for the Fall semester since each time I put in a request, my roommate and I were not home when they came in so the issue kept on being ignored.

Good for convenience, but not the most luxurious.
Super convenient location to campus (LBJ school, football stadium, and moody center are all walkable). Parking is a little far away but very inexpensive for the year. Maintenance is very responsive, but the front desk is not always available/some issues with getting packages. Rooms/bathrooms/closets are spacious but the common area is pretty small/difficult for hosting. Amenities are ok, would have liked a pool.

Terrible
Pros - very affordable and close to campus (640 bus runs every 10 minutes)
Cons - terrible maintenance / management (trash chutes always down, insects / mosquitos, elevator constantly broken, fire alarms going off at all hours for no reason), can never get packages (only open M-F from 8am-4pm...which is typically when students are in school), horrible build quality, extremely difficult to find parking (yes, you can pay for a garage spot but the garage is pretty far and meant for the sports facilities, not the apartment), no pets allowed,

They rushed the apartments and management is terrible
I would not suggest living here to no one, it is absolutely terrible, the way they treat tenants is not worth it for the price we are paying. Maintenance request for urgent stuff takes weeks if not months to address, fire alarms come up frequently and all of they times are bugs in the system. No pest control, no garbage disposal, no cleaning of common areas, mold in the apartments ...

Good apartments, uncommunicative and slow management
The apartment itself is a good place to live. The rooms are spacious enough, with a large window. The kitchen is appropriately sized for two people. The entire apartment has lots of storage, with a pantry in the kitchen, a walk-in closet, and a set of shelves, a cupboard, and a medicine cabinet in the kitchen. The stacked washer-dryer works great.
The negative here is the management and maintenance. The management is not very communicative and maintenance has been slow to respond to issues. For instance, two of the doors to the building have been broken for over a week. There was no communication about this when the issue began, and only posters on each door to use the other door. Despite requests for a timeline on when the issue would be fixed, there was not estimate given on when the issue would be resolved.
We had repeated issues with ants, which returned after the first pest control effort, which we were informed was an experimental method they were trying out. Additionally, it has been difficult to get maintenance to respond to requests made through the designated online submission. I have often had to repeatedly ask the front desk about maintenance to have them send assistance. Some of these maintenance issues may have been because this was a new complex, but the issue with the doors occurred months after opening, and the lack of communication about issues or events is ongoing.
Additionally, part of the social space is still under construction months after the apartment opened.
