It’s safe and good environment

The apartment complex is perfect, the only thing they need to improve is the communication between administration and renter.

I have enjoyed living at Lakeshore Ridge and have had minimal issues. It’s a bit expensive in my opinion, but so is everything else in the area. When I first moved in, there were several car thefts, but I personally have had no issues with that and feel safe living here.

I've lived here for about four years now, and the apartments themselves are great. The living room/kitchens are very spacious, and the rooms are also pretty good. There are windows in each room and balconies for almost every unit here. Some even have storage rooms. Maintenance always has your work order complete within 2 business days from what I've seen. The staff is very difficult to communicate with (everyone who works here will tell you something different when you ask). Getting a lease is hard when you transfer apartments, but first time move-ins are easy. The commute to Samford can be anywhere from 10-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

The apartments are fairly cheap and reasonable with roommates or with out, payment can be somewhat inconvenient as for roommates they only take physical checks and won’t allow use of the portal payment method.

The management staff is always very receptive to any maintenance request or assistance in any way that I need. I have lived here for 4 years all during school and it located in a great part of town. There are also never any issues finding parking at any part of the day, which to me is very important. There is an amazon locker that is very convenient for security of packages. I would recommend this complex to anyone. When it comes to cons to keep in mind, the gate has not worked in the past year consistently, the gym is small and needs updating, and there are no cameras in the parking lot so if burglaries happen there is no way to catch the criminal (the management is very transparent if crime occurs on the property). Something important is to know that they raise prices based on the market every year that you resign (my rent has gone up around $400 in 4 years).

I moved there 2 months ago and overall it has been a good experience even tho we had a couple of bumps before getting the apartment approved.

The apartments are relatively clean and orderly. I do not know that I would call them a great value considering the rent price, but they are not a bad option. They are relatively close to Samford which is nice.

Lakeshore Ridge is a very family-friendly complex. The amenities are great (pool, gym) and clean. The office staff is very quick to respond to emails and calls. There is decent parking as well. I highly recommend the complex.
