Good location, beautiful apartments, questionable management
The location is great for commuting to the law school and Denver. A cute little strip of restaurants and quite a few parks are nearby. The units themselves are beautiful with high ceilings and plenty of space. However, management never seems to know what's going on. When we moved in, many things were still broken or missing from our apartment, as though they had started repairs and cleaning and just forgot to finish. They will also start projects on the common spaces which can be very frustrating.

New(er) Apartments - Pretty Solid For Price
While we've had our fair share of maintenance problems (many, many, maintenance problems) it's on par with everywhere I've ever lived in Colorado. I think I just have bad luck. I do love how there are a few restaurants and parks within walking distance. There is also a Flatiron Flyer stop about a 10-minute walk away! The amenities are pretty nice and there is plenty of space for my roommate and I and our two cats. It's a quieter community which is nice for studying. There are also lots of shopping centers within a 10-minute drive including the Flatirons mall.

Arista
We lived here for two and half years. The management was helpful, the place was quiet, and we loved our neighbors. The pool was super nice and open year round (including a lap lane)! The apartment was a bit small for the price. And the pet rent was expensive.

Great amenities, close to the bus
I like living at Arista Uptown because I am a 10 min walk (1 min drive) to the bus stop for campus (the flyer). My total commute is about 20 minutes. Also, it has great amenities like a year round pool, dog park, gym, and is walking distance to 4 parks. Plus, the apartment is huge and includes a patio. A few cons are the fees for trash pickup ($30/month, they pick it up from your door) and the pet fees ($30/month per pet).

Newer, pet-friendly apartment complex
Arista Uptown is a newer apartment complex near the 1st Bank Center and right off the FF1 bus line/Highway 36, which makes bussing to the law school super easy. Your rent includes an open parking spot, but you can pay an extra $100/month for a garage. The clubhouse features and outdoor pool, a nice gym, and a common room with a couple community computers and a coffee machine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The community is also very pet-friendly and has a dog wash station plus a dog park/play area.
