Good, but they'll try to raise your rent 15% every year
I have virtually no complaints about North Main - it's clean, management stays out of your way. It's a typical cookie cutter corporately managed property. But every year they raise our rent 10-15% and we have to negotiate. So far they have been open to it, but it's not fun.

Nice location, big kitchen, unreasonable rent increases
Like anywhere, North Main is going to try to raise your rent each year by unreasonable amounts — last year they tried to raise our rent almost 15%, but we were able to negotiate it down. Other than that, our experience has been positive. These apartments are close to many beautiful walking and biking trails.

Great Apartments
Overall these apartments are great! Louisville is a great small town to live in and everyone is really friendly. The apartment complex is pet friendly and there are a lot of great amenities (pool, gym, clubhouse, etc.) It is definitely more pricey to live here, but overall I personally think it is worth it. My only complaint is that the walls are relatively thin and sometimes I can hear my neighbors talking or watching TV.

Great place to live outside of Boulder
I love my apartment at North Main. Only two issues with it:
1) A little far from campus, but not too bad at all
2) No yard for a dog -- but lots of places to walk without too many cars

Great Place to Live!
If you're interested in living in Louisville at all, I HIGHLY recommend North Main! The apartments are beautiful (built in 2013), they allow pets, they're spacious, there's a pool, hot tub, communal grill, gym, yoga room, covered parking, and a "clubhouse" with games and conference rooms. The apartments are located at the north end of Main Street, and it's a 10 minute walk to downtown Louisville (which is ridiculously quaint and awesome). Out the back of the apartments are good mountain views and a quiet suburb that's perfect for jogging, walking the dog, and taking little kids to trick-or-treat at Halloween. The property management company is responsive to maintenance requests and questions. There are free yoga classes offered at the gym twice a week, and every Thursday there's a free happy hour in the clubhouse featuring a local brewery. The pool is open all year, but it's particularly great in the summertime, when people are usually laying around with coolers of beer and grilling on the communal grill. The Sweet Cow Ice Cream truck pulls up next to the pool deck on weekends, too! The apartments are quiet, with en-suite energy efficient washer/dryer, large decks, faux wood floors, and spacious rooms.
