Summit at Hyde Park

Apt complex is pretty quiet. Management was very helpful and responsive. I will say some appliances were not top of the line. But maintenance is very kind and quick to fix issues. Also the apt has really poor natural sunlight. The apt is pretty small for what you pay but still a pretty good apt.

Good experience but steep rent

The house is very spacious, well maintained, less sunlight though. Very responsive management in terms of completing work orders.

Quiet and comfortable, lacking natural lighting

Pecan Grove is in an amazing location right in the middle of Hyde Park, and close to lots of great restaurants and bars, as well as 10-15 minutes from downtown. Management is friendly and maintenance has always been extremely efficient. I think that the place could use more natural lighting though, but that may be just the way my apartment faces. All new upgrades by next summer (2016) including dark finishes!

Brentwood is a pleasant suburban neighborhood close to major local highways and downtown. Historically, the community was an area made up of cotton fields and dairy farms. Getting around Brentwood

Brentwood Reviews

Great for families, lots of restaurants, close to HEB and Walmart. You need a car here but it is close to bus routes and the train.
On the whole, safe neighborhood (just north of the Triangle and east of Hyde Park). There are occasionally homeless wandering around the further north you go. We regularly walk/run in the area around the complex and in Hyde Park.
Great, quiet neighbornood just a 10 minute walk from Hyde Park.
Families, close to a school. I feel comfortable walking during day or night.
Nice neighborhood
The neighborhoods is great to live for a dog and family. We are close to many restaurants, outdoor activities, and a quick drive to the school. We especially love having a yard.
Cozy neighborhood with good parks and walk path. Close enough to campus and downtown, but quiet at night.
Great neighborhood. Close to The Triangle, H-E-B, and the freeway. Also close to the 801/1 bus stop that takes you directly to UT. The area itself is decent--you will find homeless people near the bus stop but I haven't had any issues with my safety.
