- good location, very close to Emory, and a cheap Uber ride to bars
Highly Recommend for Proximity to School
Walking distance to Goizueta or a short drive. Really convenient to Virginia Highlands for going out for dinner, drinks, etc. Management is friendly, maintenance is prompt, and we have not had any problems. We are even renewing for next year (first year after graduation). Good value, especially if you have a roommate. Would recommend one of the newer or upgraded units that have nicer kitchens and decor. Great for a pet since there's a dog run area and multiple areas for pet bathroom breaks. There are occasional socials or events. Mostly a student community with many Emory students.

A bit noisy but nice
Recommend not getting a bottom floor unit. You can hear upstairs neighbor stomping around, AC units are outside bedroom window, and maintenance staff mow grass early in the morning. But the staff is friendly and the apartments are very spacious for the rent. Good location, very close to Emory, and a cheap Uber ride to bars. Feels safe, but there are a lot of students that live here that can get pretty rowdy on the weekends.

Close proximity to school and growing amenities
Highland Square is a fantastic location to live because it is so close to school. You cross one main road and you are practically there! Over the past two years, the managing company has invested in improving the property to encourage residents to take advantage of the facility. The dog park has become an outdoor happy hour after people arrive back from work each day! Also, it is offset from a main road so it is relatively quiet; perfect conditions for studying. There are minor maintenance issues from time-to-time (e.g. hot water runs out), but this is usually a short-term temporary problem that is easily resolved. For the location, I am incredibly happy with my decision.

Great Place close to campus
Highland Square was a great place to spend my MBA years. Very close to campus. Nice, clean apartments. Reasonable rent. Not the fanciest of places or amenities but it has everything you need and is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute car ride from campus.

Highly Recommend
I lived at Post Briarcliff during my first year and Highland Square has been so much better. I can easily walk or ride my bike to campus, and the management company is fantastic and friendly.

Good Space and Convenient
I love living at Highland Square. The price is pretty good for being literally a 2 minute drive to campus. It is pretty quiet as far as other tenants go and a good amount of space and storage. Management is ridiculously fast at fixing things. I've actually never had a management move that fast. You go online and put in your request and then they fix it, sometimes in the same day as the request! My only complaints would be I'm on the first floor and the HVAC Systems for each apartment are outside my window and that can be really annoying. Also there are good number of bugs but pest control comes every week and can come to your apartment. Overall, great place to live.

Great leasing office and renovated kitchens
Hands down, the best part of living at Highland Square is the leasing office. They're all extremely nice and respond to requests promptly. In terms of the apartments, I live in one of the renovated units and the kitchens are wonderful. They're renovated with electric stove tops, new appliances, and faux granite counters. For someone who aspires to cook more often, this is an ideal set up.
