Parc Rosslyn Apartments reviews and highlights
- secure building with keypad access
- new building
- great rooftop pool
Nice place with decent location
The management company has given us no problems so far. The apartment is nice and spacious. The rent is not terrible considering where we are. I wish we were a little closer to the metro; it is about an 8 minute walk to the Rosslyn metro and 10 minutes to the Courthouse metro, but both walks involve serious hills. We are a relatively short walk from Georgetown, which is nice. If you don't want to live in the city (higher taxes, mroe expnsive, busier, etc.), then this is a nice compromise, as it is between work and the city. There isn't a whole lot going on in Rosslyn, though, since it is mostly commercial and not as residential as some of the other areas along the silver line. If you want to be near nightlife and restaurants, this isn't the best location, but if you want a quieter, less busy environment, then this would be a good location for you.

Great location, but I would recommend finding something else
Very convenient to get into the city and to work. There isn't as much going on as there is in Clarendon or the city, but its easy to get to those places. Definitely a developing neighborhood. The actual building is mediocre for the money, and management is slow. I'd recommend looking at a condo owned by an individual in the area, not one of the big rental developments.

Rosslyn Reviews
However, this has been a business district for ages. There is very little going on around here and many of the restaurants don’t even open on the weekends. But, that’s changing. So stay tuned!
(Also, I like living in Virginia because my vote counts for more here!)
If you have long legs, renting a bike is an option. If you are like me and 5'1'', renting a bike is an option for downhill rides.
There is a lot within walking distance in Rosslyn (think 20 min average from my apt): Barnes and Noble, shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's (also on the Arlington loop shuttle from GU), public libraries, CVS, Target, Safeway, lots of restaurants.
Also close to dense populations of immigrant communities if you like Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean food.
Cons: Neighborhood shuts down after 5pm. Few restaurants in the neighborhood itself (this is getting better though). Concrete canyon effect because of the skyscrapers. Closest grocery store is an expensive Safeway.
