Tellus reviews and highlights
- wonderful amenities
- safe area
- walking distance from grocery stores, bars, and restaurants
- amazing views of the National Mall from the rooftop pool deck
Small Space, Big Amenities
The Tellus is great but apartment sizes are small. View of the city and rooftop pool are unbeatable. Minor issues with air conditioning in the beginning. Staff is slowly figuring things out due to the newness of the building. All in all its a good value.

Amazing new building, but things keep breaking
Overall we love Tellus Apartments in Courthouse. The management and concierge have been friendly and prompt at responding to issues. There have been many issues though (washer hose not in wall, no hot water for 10 days overall, AC keeps breaking).

Rosslyn Reviews
However, this has been a business district for ages. There is very little going on around here and many of the restaurants don’t even open on the weekends. But, that’s changing. So stay tuned!
(Also, I like living in Virginia because my vote counts for more here!)
If you have long legs, renting a bike is an option. If you are like me and 5'1'', renting a bike is an option for downhill rides.
There is a lot within walking distance in Rosslyn (think 20 min average from my apt): Barnes and Noble, shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's (also on the Arlington loop shuttle from GU), public libraries, CVS, Target, Safeway, lots of restaurants.
Also close to dense populations of immigrant communities if you like Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean food.
Cons: Neighborhood shuts down after 5pm. Few restaurants in the neighborhood itself (this is getting better though). Concrete canyon effect because of the skyscrapers. Closest grocery store is an expensive Safeway.
