Couldn't wait to get out of there!
This place seemed great the first week. Then I realized the elevators were so bad, it could take you anywhere from 5 to 15 mins to get down from the 15th floor. Elevator was bad for dogs, accidents all the time.
The management was good and then Jeff left; after that it was horrible. Not good at resolving anything, seem to always be scrambling.
Maintenance was superb. They repaired anything that went wrong in a timely matter.
There were roaches in the building due to all the fast food restaurants connected, but the exterminator was effective once he came.
You will have to buy a humidifier, in the winter the heat will dry out your hair and skin, it is also very loud
Security was rude and unreliable, always a problem with packages being stolen...yes, I said stolen! Probably the security, but at times people walking in off the street with no one at the front desk, they could have anything they wanted, with a big amazon cart full of packages.
Tons of college students. It use to be and might still be advertised as student housing. Laundry machines and card machine to pay were always broken.
The building over all was reasonably priced, you get exactly what you are paying for.

Affordable and Good location. Bad management
For me and my partner it was an ideal location. I could take the blue line to rush easily and she could take the red line to her office( pre Covid). It was also very close to multiple large parks and the lake so easy to have a dog and have enjoyable walks. The building itself is Perfectly fine but the management company does not maintain the amenities that well.

No complaints
The common areas are pretty cool and my apartment is nice, plenty of space and light. The location is great and convenient to a lot - L station, convenient stores, parks, etc.

Enjoy it
I've enjoy living here for two years.
Great amenities. The dog run is amazing and convenient. Access to the city from perfect downtown location and red line across the street.

Lovely
We've been at 777 for a year, and the staff is really what makes the building shine. From the front desk to maintenance and management, they all work hard to make sure this is a safe and happy home for all. Spacious units, lovely amenities.

Absolutely Amazing
I would like to thank the Group Fox management company & the 777 S State Street staff for such a great experience during such a difficult time period. The security and maintenance staff have been absolutely amazing. I cannot thank the team enough for making sure that the residents, their families, and friends feel safe and comfortable when visiting/staying at 777 S State Street.

Positive Experience
Of all the places we looked in South Loop, 777 S State was by far and away the most attentive and responsive with answering our questions and responding to our calls. It was very easy to work with them prior to moving in.
Once we moved in, the entire staff was very kind and incredibly helpful. Specifically, the maintenance department made our move-in day go smoothly. Several external circumstances threatened to turn our move into a nightmare, but Joe and the rest of the maintenance team went above and beyond what most apartment staffs would ever do to help our move-in go smoothly. Their help was incredibly appreciated.

I love living here!
Just moved in a few days ago. Several things made the move complicated (outside of 777's control) and the staff was very friendly and did everything they could to help. The maintenance department was constantly offering help with repairs and even lent us a few tools. The whole maintenance department is very responsive, helpful, and friendly. So far I love living here!

South Loop Reviews
Across Michigan Ave from Grant Park. 10-minute walk from the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, and Soldier Field.
Roosevelt station is very close by and incredibly convenient if you don't mind taking the train or buses, but it is a transit hub, so expect increased numbers and variety of people.
Not far from the rest of the Loop, and you can still easily make your way north for study groups and social events.
If went further south than 22ND street it tends to get a little sketchy, but overall a nice area.
