Great location

This apartment definitely excels at it's location. Close to the school and to restaurants and coffee shops, it's also a super lively and friendly neighborhood. It's great for grad students especially. This area's also extremely pet friendly with tons of dog parks within a 10 minutes drive.

The apartment itself is on the older side which means that it has older apartment problems. Still, it has huge windows and nice hardwood floors.

My favorite neighborhood in Austin. Quiet, safe, central. Very walkable, quirky, very convenient. I walk to the local grocery coop (more expensive than big grocery store), coffee shops, local eateries.

Great walking space, neighbors are friendly. You see a lot of people out and about walking during the day and the scenery is pretty- many trees. Close by convenience store (Speedway market) is well-stocked, and local taco place Vaquero Taquero and a nearby coffee truck (2 minute walk from the apartment) are really convenient.

Maybe lacks some food options in the heart of it. Otherwise: it's safe. It's very residential. It's relatively flat. It's quiet. It has good areas to walk and relax, and it's not noisy in either social scenes or vehicle traffic. Love it.

Feels safe, lots of local businesses. I live within 100 feet of a convenience store, taco place, and coffee shop. Very expensive homes just one block away.
