Convenient, and a bargain for the neighborhood

You can't find cheaper apartments in the Gtown-Dupont-Foggy Bottom area, although you can if you look anywhere else. That said, it's very nice to be an easy walk or bike ride from campus, and just steps from the bars and shops of Dupont and the parks of Georgetown. The building is old and not fancy but well-maintained. The bike room is too small, but it's quite safe to lock a bike outside. The only laundry facilities are coin operated machines in the basement, which aren't the best. Also, it can sometimes be difficult to get Fedex packages delivered here, as there's no doorman to take them and they don't like leaving them by the front door.

Great apt!

Really really great management, they fix EVERYTHING right away for free and the super is INCREDIBLE! They are super responsive and reliable and I only have great great things. Perfect location, you live in georgetown which is beautiful and nice and also super close to Dupont and Foggy Bottom areas so close to transportation.

The apartment itself is kind of small and there are no amenities at all, not even a doorman. But the rent is REALLY REALLY cheap so you get what you ask for! Really recomend if you want cheap rent and a great location but don't care about size or amenities. Again, managemetn is awesome!

Georgetown Reviews

Literally the perfect neighborhood in DC. It's right on the border of Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and Foggy Bottom. They are the best three neighborhoods in DC, and you are basically a part of all three of them in this location. It is extremely safe and quiet, but also a short walk into the busier parts of town for entertainment.
Georgetown is the perfect place if you want to live somewhere that is safe and quiet.
Georgetown provides a good balance of a quieter living along with good proximity to local bars and restaurants.
So much to do and always lively! Kind of gives you a city feel but still relaxed. Grocery stores are close and there are many shopping/dining/ bars to go to. Close to the waterfront and movie theater is two blocks away. Boat rentals is walking distance and there are great running trails!
Georgetown is a quiet, safe neighborhood with tree-lined brick sidewalks that make it look more of a southern city like Savannah than the rest of D.C.
Georgetown is a great place to live if you spend a lot of time on Georgetown's campus. The school is in walking distance and the neighborhood has a cozy feel. Great proximity to bars, restaurants, shopping. However, Georgetown is cut off from the rest of DC and it is a bit more difficult to get to/from other areas of the city.
Excellent neighborhood and within walking distance of hospital. Very safe.
Beautiful neighborhood that provides suburban feel with inner city proximity. More residential with less places to go out than some other neighborhoods but still close enough access to anything you would need
