Spacious Apartments and Great Location, but Lacking Amenities
Management is pretty responsive to issues. The apartments are very spacious compared to nearby buildings, however, it is a bit of an older building. The amenities are poor, the gym has the very basic, there is no printer or common space; at least we have 24/7 security/reception. The location is great, lots of restaurants and places to go, plus transportation is nearby.

Terrible Noise Issue
Poor construction quality, can clearly hear neighbors walking upstairs, irresponsible management office

Great building; moderate amenities.
I love my apartment! Very affordable and high-quality for a one bedroom at this price point. The building's amenities are somewhat limited relative to others, but the gym and roof deck do the job in a pinch. Utilities are oddly expensive relative to other buildings, so keep that in mind when setting a rent budget for this vs. other buildings.

Great choice
Great location, front desk is nice and good to live among other students and share rides to campus. Con = gym and lack of social spaces

Large apartment, great location, not much else
I have a good space for the rent with huge floor to ceiling windows and a great view of the Philly skyline. Electric bill is large 200-250 dollars because of central AC and the sun heats up the apartment a lot but its very close to many good resturaunts, farmers market, and a trader joes across the street as well as SEPTA. If you want to workout then buy home gym equipment or go outside of the apartment gym.

This apartment converted me from an extrovert to a homebody
Really friendly management, excellent package handling and maintenance requests are responded to appropriately as well.
The apartment I have is very spacious, and also has stunning views of the city (imagine the kind where the protagonist of a movie is contemplating the life of the city passing through their eyes, yes those kinds of cinematic views). There's a great gym within the building (which is functional even though not as spacious) and it's super close to the 21st street trolley as well as Target/Trader Joes.
The issue is that the apartment is over a liquor store that faces Market Street. This entrance can be confusing for guests, and sometimes isn't safe to walk the alley alone at night. This isn't something the building necessarily controls, but important to keep in mind. I'm a single woman and I've felt safer knowing that I carry a pepper spray at times. The walls are somewhat thin which means I know when my neighbor upstairs is using their treadmill (and sometimes there's a clattering resonance in the walls from using my household devices). All residents are provided with only one key fob to access both the building and the gym, and only one set of keys.
Despite all this though, I plan to renew my lease :)
