Munger Review
Close proximity to Ross with Excellent Amenities
Munger
Munger's a great place to live if you prioritize simplicity (of move-in, utilities, etc.), close to campus/downtown, and don't mind shared common spaces.

Best value, great location
Munger is by far the best place to live in terms of value. The apartments are beautiful and spacious and for only ~900 dollars a month you get utilities, cable, and internet included. Munger offers two study lounges with ample amounts of private rooms as well.
While you live with other graduate students, some of which could potentially be Ross students, you rarely build a strong relationship with all of your housemates. Also, most Ross students live in houses south of campus and tend to forge better relationships with their housemates and neighboring classmates. This isn't to say that you are at a disadvantage socially, but it is worth considering.
Also, there are no windows in the bedrooms which can be a problem for some people... and the gym is more like a hotel fitness center

Easy living
Living at Munger is incredibly easy. It's furnished, so you don't have to worry about furniture shopping. Additionally, you only have to worry about paying one bill a month, which sounds lazy but I promise it makes a difference when you're swamped with work. Furthermore, the amenities are phenomenal. When you're not meeting with your groups at Ross, the chances are that you're meeting at Munger. Plus, the views from the 8th floor are lovely! Not to mention you get a ton of sunlight!

Best for Ross students
Wonderful! Works well for me for 2 years. Super central to everywhere and 7 min walk to campus. Management is a struggle but stuff is still pretty new so it's been fine.

Great location for Ross students
The amenities are great and they try hard to plan social events for the community. One complaint is that a lot of non-residence students (undergraduates) sometimes get into the building and take up the study room spaces/common spaces. Management hasn't done much to take care of that issue even though residents have raised it as a concern.

Munger Grad Residences
I absolutely love living in Munger. The facilities are great and everything you need is in the building. The staff is friendly, responsive, and professional. It's a great way to meet students in multiple different programs as well. You also can't beat the convenience; it's about a 5-7 minute walk to Ross.
As you know some bedrooms don't have windows. My personal preference is that it doesn't bother me. There's plenty of light in the apartment common area, and there's also a lot of space on 8th floor. So plenty of other areas to do work and hang out.
