Great location

Our apartment is small but comfortable, and is in a prime location in Ann Arbor. I think our walk to the med school is shorter than some from the white coat area, and it's nice (as someone from out of state) to be in downtown Ann Arbor to get to know this place a bit better. I would say the biggest drawback of this apartment is that this building has lots of undergrads, who can be messy in the common areas (i.e. elevator, stairwells, laundry rooms) and be loud at night.

Great location, small apartment

Fantastic location right downtown, but about a 10 minute walk from Ross. Floor plans are a little odd, but it has a dish washer, and there are free washer/dryers on each floor.

Great location, weird unit layouts

It's a great location especially if you don't have a car. The layout of units is a little weird, so the floorspace is fairly limited. All units are furnished.

Great location, furnished, a bit small

Units are a bit tight and not very well laid out, unfortunately, but the excellent location and value make up for that! Generally a pretty quiet building with a mix of undergrad, grad, and other 'townies.' The occasional street noise, depending on which side of the building you're on. Free laundry on every floor!

Great downtown location, okay apartment

Location is fantastic, 10 - 12 minute walk to Ross and right in downtown with stores, restaurants and bars steps away. Apartments are a little small and layouts can be awkward, but everything works and the building is generally clean.

Cable and internet are included, but the connection can get a little slow at peak times. Apartments have dishwashers. There are two washers and dryers on each floor, free to use.

Downtown Reviews

Downtown is great for restaurants and shops! Better than some of the areas where mostly students live, in my opinion. There are a lot of homeless people who frequently try to interact and are sometimes not very polite. Crazy busy on game days, there will be an hour wait for food.
Great area to go out in as a graduate student. There are plenty of eateries nearby and buses that go to North campus. The bus stop is approximately 10 minutes walk away and then it's about another 10 minutes to North Campus depending on traffic.
Great location near a lot of bars and restaurants and not far from the law school
Great eats, fun events, incredibly safe area. The restaurants are fantastic, you are at the epicenter of the social scene, and its a great place to walk around and explore.
Close to downtown; away from fraternity/sorority life and undergrad partying. Train is closeby which can be noisy on some mornings, but hasn't been an issue.
<10min to all the downtown bars/main street

1 min to skeeps

<10min walk to Ross and University Street.

15 min from the football stadium/bus
As you walk outside you are right where everything is happening in the city of Ann Arbor with many restaurant options and close to campus!
Love this neighborhood because it is so close to many great restaurants. Walking distance to almost anywhere on campus.
