Has many problems, hopefully renovations will help
The experience of living at Riverwest is very dependent on the specific unit. Before the renovations, the building was very outdated. Management is poor to respond to requests. Maintenance staff is rude. Honestly you get what you pay for -- if you are set on living here just make sure your condominium landlord is caring, attentive, and dedicated to a great experience.

Best deal
The facilities are not the fanciest but for the location it’s the best deal.

Great Location for Wharton Students
Perfect location right opposite 2116, friendly front desk staff, good system for collecting packages, recently renovated lobby, best value for money, units can differ a lot depending on the landlord, some apartments have good views and some don't.

Good enough for the price
Experience highly dependent on individual units and owners.

Highly Dependent on Landlord
My landlord is incredible, which is the only reason I've stayed in this building. The staff/etc are all nice as well, but there are a ton of problems throughout the building (pests, etc) that become issues within individual units if your landlord isn't good.
GREAT deal for students - honestly, other buildings that are higher priced aren't worth it for a 2-3 year student stay, since this covers all utilities except internet, too. You do get what you pay for though.

River West
The apartment is nice size for a studio with a very convenient setup. It is nice, nothing fancy, but serves my needs well for a decent price. The management is very nice and helpful and I've been very happy here. It is convenient to have a restaurant and bar in the first floor of the building and to be so close to stores, while being in a more quiet area of the city and close to the river.

Riverwest
The building is located right across from very popular 2116 Chestnut. Location is great, apartment is really secure (10/10 concierge). Quite a few Wharton students living here but overall quite.

Great for the price
I live in a decent sized one-bedroom and I’m paying less than some of my friends in studios (plus my rent includes utilities). It’s not the nicest or newest building but if you’re able to snag a more renovated unit it’s great. It’s right across from 2116, close to Trader Joe’s, and an easy walk to campus. Overall, I’m happy with the building. There’s also a good community of Wharton students living here. However, if you’re used to first class amenities this may not be the best fit. The door staff are all great but the gym is fairly small. The common space on the ground floor isn’t great for hosting large groups either.

Good for price point
Not a luxury building but very spacious for price. No huge maintenance issues. Doorman building.

Fitler Square Reviews
That being said I did notice that most students lived on the side of the school!
There are residents without housing in the neighborhood. They're good people and new residents should be respectful of them and their belongings.
