Newish management attempting to make improvements
When I first moved in this apartment was cheaper but management was terrible. Nothing was fixed before I moved in and nothing got fixed or taken care of. Bugs were also an issue (but they will be anywhere in Dallas). However, new management took over around a year ago and they’re great. They brought in exterminators and have gotten the bug problem more under control. They’re trying to fix all things that went unfixed with previous management and trying to clean up the complex. They’ve been very helpful. It’s gated and requires a clicker even for pedestrian gates. There’s also an on property courtesy patrol that employs police officers. I’ve only had to call them once in 3 years and they responded in less than 5 min. It’s mostly grad students and people working at UTSW (which is across the street) so other than some small children it is extremely quiet.

Cheapest option in Med District, but not perfect
Recently changed management. So far they are better than the previous management. They are working on making some improvements to leasing office community space and gym. Many problems with fire alarms going off throughout the complex in the past. Don't like that they mandate cost of valet trash as part of the rent.
