Quarry Arms

Nothing fancy. Just a room with a kitchen and bathroom. It worked for me because I didn’t want to spend too much Monday but also wanted to live alone. The walls are thin but your neighbors aren’t too loud. Management is easy to work with and they’re just downstairs if you need anything.

Modest, clean, decent, great location, close to campus and bus stops

This apartment building is definitely older and a bit rundown but I've really liked it so far. I'm glad I get to live in the same area as a lot of other law students without having to pay a ton or have roommates. This place is a great alternative for someone that wants to live in CTT but wants a lower price/doesn't want a roommate. It's also very private– I almost never run into people which can be nice after a long day.

Cons: Unreliable Internet connection, no pet policy, small common kitchen. Facilities: common laundry room, free shuttle bus to campus, weekend shuttle to Wegmans.

WiFi is allegedly included in the rent and you can only access the internet via that WiFi.... YET IT NEVER WORKS.

The shower water doesn't get hot during the winter and the AC doesn't work during the summer.

I would rather be living in a mud hut with no electricity/water/heat and have to hike 17 miles to campus than live in CTT for another year.

- Price is high for this kind of apartment in similar small and remote areas
- Management is not flexible at all with dates and pricing

Old place, small, close enough to campus, not dirty. I settled for the location and will not be renewing.

Close to bus station

While the Quarry Arms property does offer full sized apartments, the complex also includes dorm style rooms. My dorm style room is $610 per month and comes with a half bath (and shared shower rooms in the hall). There is a communal kitchen but I rarely use it. The building is a 'Collegetown Terrace' property so access to the CTT Shuttle and gym are big benefits. The staff is super nice. The building is old and the rooms aren't luxurious but it is a great affordable option in my opinion.
