Waldorf Towers Apartments reviews and highlights

- clean and conveniently located
- free outdoor parking and garage parking at an additional cost per month
- excellent storage space
- older building
Safe + good location, but rude management and too expensive
Title says it all. 10 - 15 minute walk to medical school and I have always felt safe here, + free outdoor parking (or $45/ month for indoor), however, way too expensive considering there are many other places around here with the same amenities that are much cheaper and have way more character. Additionally the manager is very rude and unhelpful. The management will also tack on random new policies to avoid doing their jobs (e.g. no more than 3 packages a day during the holiday season - seriously?). Pretty much everyone who fell for the convenience during M1 left after 1 year. Avoid making our mistakes.

Convenient
The Waldorf is very close to the hospitals and the medical school. My first year there I had some trouble with leaking after a large rain storm. Management was quick to fix the problem. After moving into another unit, I haven't had any other problems. My apartment is a good size and is a corner unit so I have 2 large picture windows which let in great natural light.

Convenient housing option for students
Convenient, safe. Walking distance to health campus and University Hospitals. Nice to have indoor parking (paid) or outdoor parking. Building management is responsive.

Great location and management. A little pricey.
Waldorf is the easiest place to live near campus. It's safe, very close to the medical school and overall a no-hassle place to live. The management company is very responsive and the superintendent usually repairs things relatively quickly. The mailroom makes life easy by handling all packages without glitches. Free outdoor parking and breakfast on weekdays. Bonus is a free morning shuttle to any undergraduate and graduate school building during the winter months. All units have dishwashers, lots of windows, and excellent storage space (both in the unit and in the basement). Treadmills and bikes in the laundry room in the basement. Garage parking at an additional cost per month. Overall an easy place to live for those of us too lazy to do an extensive search. Downside is that it's on the pricier side for the Cleveland Heights area.

Waldorf Towers
Waldorf has a free shuttle every morning during the winter months, free parking outside and $50 for parking in the basement which is covered, the lobby is where you pick up all your packages and can mail out things too. Very convenient to get to Case, can get there in less than 10 minutes. There is also free visitors parking for people too.

Decent location, but bad management and overpriced
The apartment is nice, clean, and conveniently located. There are nice services included like a shuttle during the winter and free breakfast and coffee on weekdays. That being said, the apartments are not worth their cost. Also, if anything breaks, you will have a hard time reminding management to remind maintenance to fix it for you. Our heat broke during January in our living room and it took the management over 3 weeks to get it fixed.

Convenient and comfortable
Lots of med/dental students live at Waldorf. There are other places you could live that are more interesting and closer to bars and nightlife, but Waldorf is in walking distance from Case campus and a grocery store, so what more can you ask for? The value is pretty good for what you get, it is not the newest building but better than a lot of the old houses on Overlook. You can pay for a parking spot in the underground covered lot, but I've never had a problem with parking in the outdoor lots, which are free.

Quiet and Safe
I have not had any problems with this apartment. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the medical school and is in a safe place. Laundry, furnishings, cable, and internet are not included.

Waldorf Tower Apartments
Perfect location - walking distance to school/hospitals, Little Italy (food/shops), and near several other grad student buildings, not to mention how many students live in this building itself.
Amenities - Staff available in lobby 8-5 everyday, tons of covered parking available, free breakfast snacks in lobby every weekday morning, shuttle to school for 3 months in the winter
I've been here for 4 years, never had problem. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience

Great location, safe, reliable management, perfect for grad/med students
I've been living at Waldorf for about a year, and I plan to continue living here with my roommate next year as well. Outdoor parking is free, garage parking is $55/month. Rent covers water, heater, and A/C. I had to set up electricity and internet with another company, and those payments are made separately each month. Laundry costs about $2 for a washer load and $2 for a dryer load. There's about 10 washers and 10 dryers in the basement of the apartment, so that's pretty convenient.
Location wise - we are a 10-15 minute walk away from the medcial school. During the snowy winter months, there is a Waldorf shuttle that will drive students directly to the medical school in the morning.
Management is responsive to maintenance requests. There is a front desk manager in the lobby available to talk to with any concerns or maintenance requests on M-F from 9am-6pm, and on Saturday from about 10am-1pm.
I have not had any problems or complaints with my apartment at Waldorf. This place works perfectly for me as a busy medical student, and I couldn't be more glad that I chose to live here.
