Great Location and Value- No Complaints
No major complaints so far. Work orders get addressed very quickly- usually by the next day. Maintenance is very nice. The location is great, grocery stores are very close by, lots of restaruants, close to the lake. Bad things about the apt- the walls are paper thin, you can often hear your neighbors talking/moving things around. Elevators frequently don't work but it seems like thats been getting better.

McClurg Court
McClurg Court is overall a solid apartment complex: the elevators can be a bit slow but the amenities are good and overall management and maintenance are responsive. There was very little transparency about when major renovations were going to happen, which left us with a makeshift gym for about half the year, unfortunately. However, now that's done the coming few years should be relatively free of major renovations for future renters.

I love McClurg
I have been living here for 2 years in August and I have recommended it to all my friends that have moved to Chicago.
It is a great location, the mix of people living here is amazing. There are students of all kinds, families, retirees, nothing too crazy (no loud music or anything).
The staff is great as well, all of them! Also, for the location I believe it has a great price and with the renovations even more.

Review
Convenient for the 2 bus. 7-11 in the building, indoor tennis court and swimming pool, gym. basic cable fee is mandatory ($30) but can get great deals for better u-verse packages.

Great first apartment
My first apartment since moving here, and I love it. Great location and new retail spaces coming up every month. Been here 4 years and have made lots of friends with my neighbors. Lots of young professionals and students in the area. Access to the lake and shopping is major plus

Wonderful Amenities
McClurg Court Apartments are wonderful! Very posh and up-to date rooms, there is a pool. What's nice is they have on site parking, which is rare to find at a rental apartment place in down town Chicago. There is also a fitness center/gym that has everything you need to get a good work out in.

Overpriced
This building is outdated and way overpriced for what you get. The rooms are small, dirty and not well maintained. The amenities are not well maintained either, many times the amenities don't work. The elevators are even worse! From all the elevators only 1 or 2 work most of the time. The location is great though.

Streeterville Reviews
There are some more expensive restaurants and fast food places. Navy Pier attracts a lot of tourists and they can be annoying to navigate around.
Noise is not usually too big of an issue in this neighborhood; it's pretty quiet at night.
There are multiple grocery stores nearby for multiple choices. Also there are a bunch of great places to eat so one will not get bored with options.
